Flight Test Engineer (Entry-Level, Associate or Mid-Level)

The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Organization is looking for a Flight Test Engineer in Berkeley, MO for the F18 / T7 / F15 flight test programs.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level, Associate, and Mid-Level Flight Test Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan, Author, and Coordinate various modifications across different teams and different sites

  • Work and manage different programs concurrently

  • Support the maintenance team with flight preparation sheets as required per maintenance

  • Support distributed test operations as required

  • Plan and coordinate flight test mission requirements with responsible engineers from internal and external customers

  • Develop flight test and mission profiles, develop and publish test plans, create flight test cards, and manage test schedules

  • Identify and coordinate the availability of test ranges and facilities with company and government agencies

  • Establish test planning working groups, plan and conduct flight test readiness reviews, and conduct pre and post-test briefings

  • Conduct ground and flight tests in accordance with established test plans and procedures

  • Participate in post-test data evaluation and problem identification and resolution

  • Prepare and publish test summaries and test reports

  • Leads and prepares for remote site deployments

  • Develops and documents standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity

  • Applies lessons learned to the improvement of test procedures

  • Oversees debriefing of the test team

  • Approves test data prior to delivery to customer

  • Formulates expectations for test data based on historical data

  • Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3 : 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 4 : 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • An active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Summary Pay Range for Entry-Level (Level 1): $68,000 - $92,000

Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $79,900 - $108,100

Summary Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): $95,200 - $128,800
