Job summary

The Air Force Test Center at Edwards AFB seeks a Full-Time Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic (Aircraft Electrician) to inspect, troubleshoot, and service high‑performance avionics and electrical systems on instrumented test aircraft.

Responsibilities include testing and diagnosing avionics and environmental systems, removing and replacing components, and maintaining comprehensive maintenance records in accordance with technical data and directives.

Qualifications

• Experience with fiber optic testing and repair highly desired.
• Flight Test experience recommended.
• Knowledge of aircraft avionics, environmental systems and electrical systems; 능·ability to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities

• Functionally tests and troubleshoots instrumented, test and modified aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
• Removes, inspects, repairs, and replaces components as needed.
• Maintains maintenance records for aircraft and equipment per directives.
• Performs ground handling and routine servicing of aircraft (preflight/postflight, refueling, towing, washing, lubrication).
