Job summary

Hermeus is seeking a Flight Termination System Responsible Engineer to oversee the design, integration, and testing of flight termination hardware. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of aerospace high criticality hardware experience and a relevant engineering degree. Responsibilities include managing the full life cycle of the FTS and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. The position offers a salary between 91,800 - 224,250 USD annually, unlimited PTO, and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace high criticality hardware.
• Ability to communicate technical challenges effectively.
• Must be able to maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the full life cycle of the Flight Termination System.
• Lead system design including mechanical and electrical hardware.
• Manage the integration with avionics and fluid systems.
