Astro Mechanica is seeking an in-person Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in San Francisco. You will work embedded with real aircraft software teams, contributing to flight software, simulations, and tooling.

• Pursuing degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Experience with C++, Rust, Python through coursework or internships.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Familiarity with Git and software testing practices.
• Available for a full-time, in-person internship in SF during Summer 2027.

Responsabilidades

• Join embedded software team standups and design reviews.
• Own a scoped project from design through delivery with mentorship.
• Contribute to flight software, simulation, tests, or internal tools.
• Test code on flight hardware and embedded systems.
• Write unit and integration tests for reliability.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, propulsion and controls engineers.
• Present work to the team at summer's end.
