Job summary

Axiom Space, a leader in commercial human spaceflight, seeks a bold Flight Software Engineer to design and develop embedded flight software for the Axiom Space Station.

You will collaborate with propulsion, ECLSS, GN&C, networks, and avionics teams, perform testing in Hardware-in-the-Loop, and support CI/CD pipelines while contributing to milestone reviews and on-site development at our Webster, TX facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with C, C++, Rust, and Python in Linux or RTOS environments.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with spaceflight or safety-critical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, integrate, and deploy embedded flight software.
• Collaborate with propulsion, environmental control and life support (ECLSS), GN&C, networks, data links, power and other flight systems.
