Northrop Grumman in Manhattan Beach, CA, is seeking Associate Flight Software Engineers to join the Space sector's software team. This entry-level role supports space systems development and verification in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy flight software across the full life cycle, gaining hands-on experience and transitioning toward professional practice. Travel up to 10% and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualificações

• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Be majoring in or having majored in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Embedded/Software focused) or a related STEM field.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
• Recent programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, Python, Java, or similar languages.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
• Determine computer user needs.
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls.
