Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Flight Simulation Trainer (Level 2) or Principal Flight Simulation Trainer (Level 3) to join our Melbourne, FL team. The role focuses on translating aircraft systems into flight training content, collaborating with engineers, and validating training scenarios in aircrew devices.

On-site with a 9/80 schedule, some travel is required. Required are a Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s for alternate paths), rated aircrew qualifications, and instructor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years in training and development materials; or 0 years with Master’s degree.
• Rated Aircrew (Pilot, Navigator, EWO, WSO, NFO).
• Instructor qualification within past 10 years.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex aircraft systems into detailed flight training curriculum content.
• Lead cross-functional efforts on device functionality testing and issue resolution.
• Test and validate training scenarios in aircrew training devices for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct instructional sessions, briefings, and proficiency checks on flight simulators per regulations.
