Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our team in Troy, MI. You will deliver rapid pre-hospital and in-flight medical care, working with flight crews and local healthcare partners to ensure safe patient transport.

The position requires active state paramedic certification, 3+ years of field experience (5 years preferred), and current BLS/ACLS/PALS-PEPP/PHTLS-ITLS certifications; FP-C within 24 months is ideal. Sign-on bonus available.

Requirements:

• ActiveParamedic Certification in the state of employment.
• Minimumof 3 years of paramedic field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospitalservice (5 years preferred).
• Currentcertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, and PHTLS/ITLS (NRP andinstructor certifications preferred).
• FP-Ccertification within24 months of hire.
• Flightor transport experience preferred.
• Successfulcompletion of the Medical Group education/orientation program.
• Bachelor'sdegree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills, including verbal clarity in person andover the phone.
• Basiccomputer skills for electronic charting, email, and reporting.
• Abilityto pass a pre-placement physical exam, functional capacity exam (strength andflexibility assessment, including lifting up to 100 pounds), drug screening,and background check.
• Mustmaintain body weight below 235 lbs per flight policy.
