Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Paramedic for Seminole, OK. Starting pay is $21.32 per hour plus DOE with a $4.16/hour area stipend. You will transport patients to and from facilities, perform advanced life support, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

The role requires a minimum of three years in 911/critical care, EMT-P licensure for the serving states, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/trauma certifications. FP-C within 24 months is expected; NREMT-P may be required in some areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting required.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility maintaining thorough patient care documentation.
• Conduct pre-mission liftoff checklist and Pilot assistance when needed, i.e. radio, navigational, and visual observation activities.
• Complies with safety standards to assure safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment prior to liftoff.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefing and completes necessary documentation.
