Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Claremore, OK is hiring a Flight Paramedic to transport patients and assist on scene calls. You will provide advanced life support, participate in pre-mission briefings, and ensure thorough documentation and safety standards for crew and patients.

Minimum 3 years in 911/critical care, EMT-P license in applicable states, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/trauma certs, FP-C within 24 months, and potential NREMT-P in certain areas are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care until patient handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing training and practice.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures in the Education Manual.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and routine maintenance.
• Foster positive relations with colleagues, EMS, hospitals and public.
• Serve as medical flight team member and participate in mission briefings/debriefings.
