Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Flight Paramedic in Wichita Falls, TX. The role involves transporting patients to and from facilities and performing scene call work with a high emphasis on safety and quality patient care.

Responsibilities include conducting pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care, completing electronic records, and staying current on licensure and certifications. The position requires FP-C within 24 months and EMT-P licensure in the relevant states.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact until handoff to the accepting facility.
• Maintain competency through ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures documentation.
