Job summary

Air Methods seeks an experienced paramedic for a clinical flight role in Nevada. You will deliver pre-hospital ALS, perform advanced life support, triage, and treatment while documenting care and maintaining aircraft equipment.

You’ll participate in pre-mission briefings, liftoff checks, and debriefings, ensuring safety and quality during transport. A 911 background and ongoing professional education are required, with opportunities for growth and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least three years’ related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support and document care thoroughly.
• Maintain equipment and supplies onboard aircraft and report failures.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and liftoff checklists with the flight crew.
• Comply with safety standards to protect patient and crew.
