Job summary

PHI Health, LLC in Conroe, TX is seeking Flight Paramedics to join our elite air medical team. You will provide rapid, advanced pre-hospital care during rotor-wing and fixed-wing transports, under supervision of Base Medical Supervisor.

The role requires an active paramedic certification, 3–5 years of field experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP and ITLS; FP-C within 24 months is preferred. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, competitive pay, shift bonuses, and an annual CE allowance.

Qualifications

• Active paramedic certification in the state employed.
• Minimum 3 years field experience in busy 911/pre-hospital service (5 years preferred).
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP and PHTLS/ITLS.
• NRP preferred; Instructor certifications preferred.
• FP-C within 24 months of hire; flight/transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized assessments, diagnoses, therapies, and emergency treatment for patients transported by rotor-wing, fixed-wing, and ground.
• Document accurate information for assessment and treatment during stabilization and transport.
• Document billing information for patient transports.
• Maintain effective communication with management and external customers.
• Participate in PR and marketing activities.
• Maintain knowledge through meetings, chart reviews, equipment reviews, skills labs, rotations, and CE sessions.
• Complete annual recurrent competency requirements.
• Maintain active paramedic certification and other required certifications.
• Operate under Medical Director's licensure and comply with local health regulations.
