Air Evac Lifeteam in Durant, OK is hiring a Flight Paramedic to transport patients to and from medical facilities and respond to scene calls. You will work with a team of air transportation experts, upholding high safety standards for crew and patients.

Requirements include EMT-P licensure in the states served, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and FP-C certification within 24 months of hire; NREMT-P may be required in the assigned area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting required.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilités

• Completion and submission of electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required time frame.
• Daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact until handoff, with thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures documentation.
• Knowledgeable in use and maintenance of equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Function as a medical flight member and participate in briefings/debriefings.

Formation

EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification

Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C)

NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area

FP-C within 24 months from date of hire
