Penn Medicine seeks an experienced Paramedic to provide Advanced Life Support in interfacility transport. The Paramedic will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, maintain clinical competencies, and ensure patient safety across all ages. Orientation and ongoing education are required to maintain Medical Command status.

Promotions to Paramedic II depend on certification milestones and performance. Compliance with PA DOH EMS standards and PennSTAR policies is expected.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required.
• National Registry of EMT-Paramedic certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform equipment checks and prepare the ambulance at shift start.
• Provide high-level ALS care to interfacility patients across age groups.
• Maintain communications with PennSTAR Center and medical control.
• Coordinate patient loading/unloading and transfer of care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend required trainings and maintain credentialing and immunizations.
