Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) is hiring a Flight Paramedic for our McClellan, CA base. You will transport patients to and from facilities and support scene calls with a focus on safety and high-quality patient care.

The role requires at least 3 years in emergency/critical care, EMT-P licensure, and active AHA certifications. You’ll operate in a fast-paced team with strong safety standards and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in emergency or critical care.
• EMT-P Certification/License current.
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP/EPC.
• PHTLS/ITLS required before flight status and within 30 days of hire.
• PHNRP within 3 months and FP-C within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine the best course of action for critical care.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage acutely ill or injured patients and support physicians' orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment with regular equipment/base checks.
• Collaborate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift-change information and document accurately for regulatory records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
