Global Medical Response is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transport experts. You will transport patients safely to and from medical facilities and handle scene call work, maintaining high safety standards for crew and customers.

You will operate in a fast-paced, team-based environment, with required certifications and ongoing training to meet our elevated safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P Certification/License.
• Current American Heart Association certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP/EPC).
• PHTLS/ITLS required before flight status (Provided During Orientation).
• PHTLS/ITLS must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• PHNRP must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• FP-C must be obtained and maintained within 24 months from the month of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assess each situation to determine the best course of action for patient care in critical situations.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adults or pediatric patients and support physician orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment; perform equipment checks and ensure safety standards.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Share shift-change information and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation.

We’re hiring Flight Paramedics to work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services, therefore you’ll work on a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Flight Paramedics will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintain regular equipment and base checks, and comply with safety standards and briefings.
• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Share shift change information to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Paramedics are accountable for maintaining required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.
• Committed to being on-time, reliable, professional, and meeting our elevated standards in safety and service.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting
