Job description

About Thrust Aviation

Thrust Aviation is a U.S.-based private aviation company specializing in on-demand private jet charter, aircraft management, and aircraft sales. Founded in 2019, we’ve earned a reputation for exceptional service, transparent pricing, and operational excellence.

We are a fast-growing team of high achievers who share a passion for aviation, precision, and delivering for our clients.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Flight Support Specialist to join our global 24/7 operations team. This is a remote, full-time role supporting private jet operations worldwide. You’ll work in a fast-paced, highly detailed, and time-sensitive environment where every second counts.

This job requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to perform under pressure, and top-tier verbal and written communication — you’ll be working directly with operators, vendors, and high-value clients.

You must be flexible, able to handle multiple tasks at once, and maintain a positive, can-do attitude even in high-pressure situations.

We hire for attitude and mindset — we can train you on our tools and processes, but you need to bring energy, resilience, and a drive to succeed.

Important Fit Note

This is not a casual or laid-back role. If you don’t thrive under pressure, struggle with multitasking, or dislike time-sensitive, client-facing work, this is not the right fit for you.

We are looking for people who:
Stay calm and clear-headed under tight deadlines
Juggle multiple priorities without dropping details
Communicate clearly, even when things get intense
Bring a positive, solution-focused attitude, even on tough days

If you love a challenge, enjoy solving real-time problems, and take pride in delivering high-level operational support, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide real-time flight support, including flight-following, operational monitoring, and live updates.
  2. Coordinate with pilots, operators, handlers, and vendors to ensure seamless, on-time operations.
  3. Monitor weather, NOTAMs, and operational risks to support safe flight execution.
  4. Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in English across all channels (written + spoken).
  5. Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as part of a high-performance global team.
  6. Handle multiple tasks under time pressure while maintaining accuracy and composure.
  7. Contribute to improving team workflows, tools, and problem-solving strategies.

Required Qualifications

  1. Fluent English (minimum B2 level; C1 or higher preferred) — outstanding written and spoken communication.
  2. Prior airline or aviation operations experience is essential (airline ops, flight dispatch, private aviation, FBO, etc.).
  3. Strong understanding of flight-following, operational support, and time-sensitive decision-making.
  4. High-level attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities under pressure.
  5. Flexible, adaptable mindset with excellent multitasking skills.
  6. Strong teamwork, accountability, and positive attitude — especially in demanding or stressful situations.
  7. Advanced computer skills and ability to work across multiple systems and tools.

Preferred (Not Required)

  1. Dispatcher license or certification.
  2. Experience in private aviation or business jet operations.
  3. Familiarity with global flight planning and tracking systems (ARINC Direct, FOS, Rockwell Collins, Jeppesen, ForeFlight).
