Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a dynamic Flight Coordinator Supervisor to join our New York team. You will oversee daily flight catering operations, supervise coordinators and flight checkers, and ensure timely delivery of meals and duties across departments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in supervisory roles in airline catering or related industries, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a supervisory role within airline catering or related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or Logistics.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong planning, coordinating and operational management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to motivate the team.
• Proficiency in scheduling, reporting and communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities including food packing, transportation logistics, production and dispatch processes.
• Supervise Flight Coordinators, Food Packers–Flight Checkers, and VIP Charter Teams to minimize delays.
• Maintain accuracy of customer specifications across departments.
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed at all times.
• Train, motivate, and schedule team members to maintain high standards.
• Ensure quality of products and trolleys meet high standards before delivery to aircraft crews.
• Manage regular counts to verify quantity and quality of meals and products.
• Identify areas for improvement in processes and customer care; propose solutions.
• Communicate operational information across departments.
