Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Sikeston, Missouri is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our team of air transportation experts. You will safely transport patients to and from medical facilities and perform scene call work, upholding high safety standards for crew and customers.

Starting pay is $28.66 per hour, plus DOE, with a $2.15 hourly area stipend. Requires RN licensure, emergency/critical care experience, and CFRN within 24 months, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care nursing experience.
• Current RN license in MO or states served.
• NRP certification provided during New Hire Training; CFRN within 24 months.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required prior to flight status.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine the best course of action for critical care patients.
• Manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment with regular equipment and base checks.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change information and maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
