Job summary

San Juan Regional Medical Center is seeking an Air Care RN to provide specialized patient transport and high-level critical care support. The role emphasizes compassionate, values-driven care and adherence to the nursing process for dynamic patient management in a transport setting.

The ideal candidate will have a valid NM or multi-state license, BLS, and 3+ years of critical care experience, with NRP/CFRN preferred or on track within specified timelines, and the ability to manage physically

Qualifications

• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing of New Mexico or compact (multi-state).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Three (3) years minimum critical care experience.
• NRP certification within one (1) year.
• CFRN within two (2) years of employment.
• Meets flight weight of less than two hundred twenty-five (225) pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized patient care and maintains clinical competency appropriate for the area of practice.
• Understands and follows policy and procedure in addition to meeting licensure requirements.
• Responsive to current safety and quality initiatives and sustains improvement.
• Builds productive interpersonal relationships in every encounter.
• Demonstrates teamwork and actively participates in the department.
• Implements SJRMC’s Service Standards: Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship.
