Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Nurse to join our air transport team in Anadarko, OK. You will assess and treat patients in critical care and work with physicians to follow orders while keeping a safe aircraft environment.

The role requires 3+ years in emergency or adult critical care, an active RN license for the area, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP; CFRN within 24 months of hire is required. Competitive pay and benefits accompany field missions.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP training provided).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care.
• Use critical thinking to manage the critically ill or injured patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment and conduct base checks and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change information and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation.
