Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Anadarko, OK is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our air transport team. You will safely transport patients to and from facilities and handle scene calls with professional, high-safety standards.

Minimum qualifications include 3 years in emergency or adult critical care as an RN, current RN license, EMT and trauma certifications, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP before flight, and CFRN within 24 months of hire. Starting pay is $28.66/hr + DOE, with a $4.16 hourly area stipend.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification as required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight; NRP provided during training.
• CFRN certification required within 24 months from date of hire.

• Assess each situation to determine best course of action for patient care in critical situations.
• Use critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment and perform base checks.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners with clear communication.
• Transition care through shift handoffs and ensure accurate documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.

Flight Nurse

IMMEDIATE HIRING! Flight Nurse Opportunity in Anadarko, OK

• Starting pay at $28.66 hourly + DOE
• $4.16 Hourly Area Stipend Modification.

We’re hiring a Flight Nurse to work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services, therefore you’ll work on a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefings.
• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Nurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior flight experience
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
