Job summary

Global Medical Response in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Flight Nurse to assess, monitor and treat patients in critical care during air transport. You will work with physicians, flight crews and ground teams to ensure safe, effective care and adherence to protocols.

The role requires active RN license, CFRN within 24 months, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, EMT and trauma where required; prior flight experience is preferred. Starting salary ranges from $115,000 to $165,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in the state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to the transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training necessary for the position.
