The role requires a minimum of three years in Emergency or Adult Critical Care, an active RN license, and mandatory BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications; CFRN within 24 months.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess critical care situations to determine best course of action for patient support, monitoring, and treatment.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage adult or pediatric patients who are critically ill or injured, supporting physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked aircraft environment with regular equipment/base checks.
• Collaborate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners through professional communication.
• Share shift change information, follow protocols, and maintain accurate records per regulations.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training to ensure competence and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of three years' experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in applicable states.
• EMT and Trauma Certifications as required by state(s).
• Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (NRP provided during training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) within 24 months of hire.
• Preferred: prior flight experience, instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
