Guardian Flight, Inc. is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our team of air transportation experts. You will safely transport patients to and from medical facilities and participate in scene call work, upholding high safety standards for crew and customers.

Expect a starting annual range of $99,000–$102,000 with a $10,000 sign-on bonus payable in two installments after training. The schedule features a 5 days on / 10 days off rotation and company-paid crew housing while on shift.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assess situations to determine best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment with regular equipment and base checks; comply with safety standards and briefings.
• Collaborate and communicate professionally with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to transitioning team; follow protocols to maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.

Responsibilities

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefings.
• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Nurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care settingas a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior flight experience
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
