Job summary

Cirrus in Duluth, MN is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician dedicated to ensuring airworthiness through inspection, repair and replacement of aircraft systems. You will develop skills to operate, inspect and service components, and read engineering drawings to determine part locations and relationships.

The role involves hands-on work on engines, propellers, electrical and hydraulic systems, with emphasis on safety and quality. Strong tool knowledge and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associates degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-12 months experience in manufacturing or mechanical maintenance.
  • Airframe & Powerplant License strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints and production illustrations, and other specifications to determine the identify, location and relationship of aircraft parts.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
  • Solid knowledge of hand & power tools
  • Willing to learn new skills.

  • Inspect engine parts for improper wear/warping or other defects, servicing the aircraft systems as required.
  • Works with Quality Department to certify the aircraft is prepared for Certificate of Airworthiness and works to a manufacturing schedule.

Pay Range

Salary Range: USD $26.48/Hr. - USD $39.72/Hr.
