Job summary

Boeing at Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform general aviation maintenance, avionics and structural work on modification 5th generation military fighters. The role requires an active U.S.

Secret Clearance and potential to obtain Top Secret, with 100% onsite work at Edwards AFB. Responsibilities include maintenance on aircraft systems, loading/testing software, wiring installation, and interfacial work with government/military teams.

Qualifications

Military aircraft maintenance experience with honorable discharge and/or FAA Airframe or FAA Powerplant License.
3+ years of experience in full-time aircraft flight line maintenance on military or commercial aviation aircraft.
Willingness to wear PPE at all times and work variable shifts including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform aircraft maintenance on all aircraft systems, preventative maintenance, launch, recovery, and ground movement.
Load and test software and perform checks for hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and avionics systems.
Install, test and repair fiber optic and electrical wiring and harnesses.
Troubleshoot and prepare aircraft for flight in a flight line environment.
Maintain records and interpret engineering documentation and blueprints.
