Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks a Flight Instructor to deliver ground and simulator training at the Wichita East Location in Kansas. You will create training materials, track progress, and ensure regulatory compliance for each client.

The role requires in-depth aviation knowledge, ability to manage classes, and strong customer service with a coachable attitude. Relocation is provided for candidates not in the Wichita metro area.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aviation safety standards and practices.
• Knowledge of common aviation regulations.
• Ability to manage classes and teach effectively.
• First-level facilitation skills.
• First-level customer service skills.
• Ability to be coachable and receive feedback to support development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for clients.
• Develop and prepare training materials to meet client needs.
• Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend for qualification.
• Complete accurate training records for each client.
• Identify client training issues and seek assistance before execution.
• Maintain instructor qualifications per regulatory requirements.
