Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Flight Inspector – Level 1 or Level 2 to join our Receiving Inspection team in Promontory, UT. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off. In this job, you will: Successful candidates will work independently to perform a wide range of quality inspection tasks. Perform visual, in-process and final dimensional inspections on tightly tolerance piece parts, subassemblies and final assemblies. Perform certification and data package reviews from various suppliers and vendors. Performs required inspections in accordance with procedures and planning documentation. Performs required inspections using standard measurement instruments. Must be able to work shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required Able to acquire and maintain Employee Possessor (EP) status under the Safe Explosives Act (SEA). Other duties as assigned This position can be filled at either a Level 1 or Level 2.
Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
