Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeks an experienced Flight Equipment Technician III to perform I-Level maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of aircraft flight equipment and life-support systems. You will diagnose complex discrepancies and ensure compliance with manuals, standards, and safety.

The role requires strong hands-on skills with oxygen and gas systems, precision tools, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

  • I-Level maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft flight equipment, life-support, and survival systems.
  • Experience with oxygen and gas system handling and servicing.
  • Proficiency in technical manual interpretation, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair.
  • Experience using precision tools, gauges, test equipment, and specialized aviation maintenance equipment.
  • Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide technical direction to other technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Perform I-Level maintenance, inspection, repair, modification, and functional testing of aircraft flight equipment and life-support systems.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain and service oxygen, gas, survival, and flight equipment systems.
  • Interpret and apply technical manuals, drawings, specifications, and manufacturer maintenance instructions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring devices, test equipment, and specialized aviation maintenance tools.
  • Inspect completed work to verify quality, functionality, and compliance with approved technical data.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft, equipment, maintenance, inspection, and computerized records.
  • Maintain accountability of tools, test equipment, materials, and assigned assets.
  • Support Quality Assurance, safety, risk assessment, and hazard mitigation requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to lower-level technicians.
  • Prioritize workload to support aircraft readiness and maintenance schedules.

The Position

We are seeking an experienced Flight Equipment Technician III (USMC MOS 6048) to perform Intermediate-Level (I-Level) maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of aircraft flight equipment and life-support systems. The technician will apply technical knowledge and experience to diagnose and correct complex equipment discrepancies while ensuring all work meets applicable technical manuals, quality standards, and safety requirements.

A person in this position does the following;

Safety & Quality

The technician is responsible for maintaining strict compliance with approved technical data, quality standards, safety procedures, tool control, FOD prevention, risk management, and all applicable maintenance requirements.
