Job summary

CAE in Mesa, AZ is seeking a dispatcher to oversee the safe, efficient dispatch of the flight schedule across training resources, aircraft, classrooms and simulators. You will maximize assets, reduce cancellations, and collaborate with Training, Maintenance and Customer Service while meeting all company and regulatory requirements.

This role requires English fluency, a 2-year technical or associate degree, 1–2 years of related experience, and strong planning, communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2-year technical degree or Associate degree or college degree in job-related field.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling methodologies and systems.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed analytical, conceptual skills, along with great situational awareness.
  • Able to confidently uphold policies and provide appropriate pushback when needed.
  • Computer literate with knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience of working within a customer service focused environment.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of commercial aviation and flight training concepts and principles.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and completing transactions.
  • Experience working in an aviation planning, scheduling or related operational environment
