**Roles and Responsibilities**
- FLIGHT DECK Activation Designer will be responsible for scaling core FLIGHT DECK standards into alternative media and delivery channels based on customer needs.
- Accountable for designing, developing, and executing an integrated strategy, coordinating cross-functional teams in Communications, Learning, and HR to ensure impactful activation experiences that develop leadership capabilities within FLIGHT DECK.
- Manage program responsibilities for FLIGHT DECK Foundations, a quarterly in-person leadership experience at key FLIGHT DECK hubs worldwide.
- Partner with teams to create high-quality cross-business experiences, including Immersion & Onboarding, Leadership Fundamental Events, Skill Summits, etc.
- Manage and enhance the FLIGHT DECK Activation Hub using lean tools to improve customer satisfaction continuously.
- Design experiences to showcase and activate FLIGHT DECK standards and content across various formats, including in-person immersive learning, scalable digital case studies, and AI-enabled portals.
- Own and improve standard work processes for activation design and development.
- Simplify and standardize technical tools for activation enablement, such as Miro, Impact Tracking, and MS SharePoint.
**Required Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in communications, learning design, marketing, event management, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in developing content to improve operational performance and support lean transformation.
- Experience working within lean functions in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams.
- Experience coaching senior leaders and executives on lean/FLIGHT DECK concepts.
**Desired Characteristics and Experience**
- Over 10 years of leadership experience in developing content for operational improvement and lean transformation.
- Expertise in multimedia design, creating engaging experiences that inspire and build capabilities, with a rigorous quality process.
- Understanding of FLIGHT DECK standards and their deployment across channels, collaborating with the standards creation team for consistency.
- Ability to develop and support a FLIGHT DECK activation curriculum in partnership with operations and Voice-of-Customer teams.
- Develop a benchmarking cadence to analyze and improve activation experiences, benchmarking with mature lean organizations outside GE Aerospace.
- Build a kaizen mindset, fostering continuous improvement and embedding cultural tenets in partnership with HR and communications.
- Influential leadership to integrate FLIGHT DECK fundamentals into employee touchpoints.
- Strong collaboration skills, working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders, fostering inclusive and psychologically safe environments.
- Clear communication skills to translate complex topics into simple messages tailored to target audiences.
- Problem-solving ability in enterprise-wide contexts, thriving under pressure and continuous improvement environments.
- Balanced IQ and EQ, demonstrating authenticity, flexibility, and emotional maturity, with a humble and transparent approach.
- Proven project management skills, capable of leading programs from planning to execution.
