Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to join the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) team in Denver, Colorado. This role involves developing control laws and flight software for spacecraft, with a focus on the Blue Moon landers. You will collaborate with engineers to design spacecraft control systems, utilizing your expertise in algorithm development.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Aerospace or a related field and experience in coding and simulation. A commitment to the mission of safe human spaceflight is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Aerospace, Mechatronic, or Electrical engineering or closely related subject areas.
• Proven experience in GN&C algorithm development specifically for flight and attitude control.
• Experience coding in C/C++ and familiarity with Matlab/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Develop control laws and flight software for spacecraft.
• Prototype algorithms and conduct trade studies for control architectures.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers on subsystem boundaries and interfaces.
