Your role:

You will develop the fly-by-wire Flight Control System (FCS) for our aircraft ATEA, focusing on hardware and software related to the FCS. Reporting to the ‘Overall System Design’ Leader, you will ensure that the flight control software and architecture meet certification, operational, and performance requirements.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

• Master the current fly-by-wire FCS architecture and its evolutions
• Design and develop FCS software considering safety and performance requirements
• Elaborate High Level and Low Level Specifications
• Secure interfaces with teams such as Avionics, Software Integration, Hybrid Propulsion, etc.
• Define Verification and Validation procedures for FCS software, from digital models to hardware-in-the-loop test benches (HIL)
• Verify and validate FCS software during the flight test campaign

Profil recherché

The job has been made for you if you have:

• An autonomous and proactive attitude towards technical challenges
• Mandatory qualifications:
• Expertise (8+ years) in fault-tolerant fly-by-wire architecture for aircraft or helicopters
• Design experience (8+ years) in Fault Detection and Reconfiguration algorithms, sensor management, and actuator health algorithms
• Ability to analyze complex system interactions for various scenarios
• Experience with Matlab / Simulink or SCADE
• Knowledge of system development standards such as ARP-4754A

Bonus qualifications include:

• Knowledge of sensors like AHRS, Air Data Sensors, Radio Altimeters
• Experience with electro-mechanical actuators
• Familiarity with communication standards such as RS-485, CAN, ARINC-429, Ethernet
• Flight testing experience
• Knowledge of CS-25 or CS-27 certification requirements
