Job summary

Executive Recruiting Group is seeking a Flight Control Law Design engineer for our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. You will develop and test flight control laws for the Primary and Automatic Flight Control Systems of a highly augmented air vehicle, including rotorcraft-like and fixed-wing-like control tasks.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years of experience in control law design, and proficiency with Matlab/Simulink.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience in fixed-wing or rotorcraft control law design, analysis and testing.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and DOORS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish requirements for flight control function performance, integrity, and availability.
• Create verification tests to demonstrate flight control functions based on requirements.
• Design and analyze flight control law functions for primary and automatic systems.
• Conduct, analyze, and document verification tests of flight control law functions.
• Support flight testing of flight control law functions.
