Description

Flight attendant jobs are highly desired as they allow you to see the world while working. No special schooling or college degree is required; United provides full training.

Pay and Compensation

Starting hourly pay of $28.88/hour, with a top of $67.11/hour, with increases based on seniority, language skills, lead roles, and international trips.

Training

6.5 weeks of training in Houston, TX, covering safety and customer service. Post-training, you are assigned to a hub location. United provides a $140/week per diem, accommodations, and meals during training.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 21+ years old
• High school diploma or GED; college preferred
• One year of customer service experience
• Fluent in English and German
• Ability to operate electronic devices proficiently
• Valid passport with at least 18 months remaining
• Ability to travel internationally without restrictions
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, walk, and perform safety assessments
• Legal authorization to work in the US
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Onboarding and Training Expectations

• Complete evacuation drills and health screenings
• Pass background checks and drug screens
• Pass a 10-year criminal background check, including restrictions for certain charges
