Job summary

FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specialized in Manufacturing Equipment in Texas. The role leads the implementation of advanced equipment projects, designs, installations and startups, supporting cross-functional teams and ensuring safety and quality standards.

The candidate will bring a university degree in engineering or manufacturing and at least five years of related experience, with strong proficiency in CAD tools.

Qualifications

• University degree in a manufacturing or engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing equipment projects.
• Ability to operate within a multi-tasking dynamic team environment.
• Aptitude to learn new design tools to broaden experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation of the manufacturing equipment strategy, ensuring advanced manufacturing solutions are readily employed.
• Responsible for interpretation, coordination and execution of projects and assignments, including equipment design, installation, commissioning and start-up, preparation of specifications, etc.
• Advisor to cross-functional teams to address manufacturing equipment initiatives.
• Responsible for providing technical support in assembling and presenting manufacturing equipment concepts and solutions.
• Depitzes for local Manager, Manufacturing Equipment as required.
• Coordinates with internal and external groups to support implementation of manufacturing equipment projects and assignments.
• Responsible for ensuring that the applicable engineering aspects of the quality and safety requirements are implemented in accordance with Company and statutory requirements.
• Responsible for producing and approving reports and other documents in accordance with Company procedures.
• Fully capable in use of electronic drawing and design tools such as CADD and SolidWorks.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
