Job summary

StretchLab in Austin is seeking Flexologists to provide one-on-one assisted stretches and lead group stretch classes for clients. This is a growing boutique fitness role with a focus on mobility improvement.

Candidates should have a fitness certification, hands-on training experience, and a professional work ethic. The position offers a clear training path via the Flexologist Training Program™ and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Love of boutique fitness environment and passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
• Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates or Yoga Instructor.
• Experience working in a fitness/health environment with hands-on training.
• Fitness certification required.
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
• Excellent communication skills and empathy.
• Enjoy connecting with people and helping them achieve goals.
• Professional work ethic, reliability, and attendance adherence.
• Must complete the 2 day Flexologist Training Program™, including 20 hours online and 3 days in-person training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions as well as group stretch classes for up to 6 clients.
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions.
• Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele through sales and outreach to leads.
• Manage client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, update client notes, and book weekly recurring appointments.
• Ensure client safety regarding proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules.
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.
• Handle member concerns when applicable.
• Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed.
• Maintain a strong social media presence to support client membership and retention.
• Clean and maintain all equipment for client use.
