Ideal candidates have backgrounds as Massage Therapists, Personal Trainers, Physical Therapist Assistants or Aides, Yoga/Pilates Instructors, or Dance Instructors, who are eager to expand their expertise and transform lives through stretching.

The Flexologist Role: As a Flexologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized assisted stretching sessions and leading engaging small-group classes. You will inspire, educate, and support clients to enhance flexibility, reduce discomfort, and improve overall performance and well-being. Additionally, you'll build meaningful relationships with clients and actively contribute to the dynamic community at StretchLab.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver tailored, one-on-one assisted stretching sessions to meet clients' individual goals.
• Lead dynamic and engaging small-group stretch classes (up to 6 participants).
• Inspire and motivate clients on their wellness journeys.
• Ensure client safety through correct technique and adherence to StretchLab guidelines.
• Support studio growth through membership sales, studio tours, and community engagement.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio environment and equipment.
• Participate in regular team meetings and ongoing training sessions.
• Foster a vibrant social media presence to enhance community engagement and studio visibility.

Qualifications We're Seeking:

• Passionate about fitness, stretching, mobility, and helping others achieve wellness goals.
• Preferred professional backgrounds (one or more of the following):
• Massage Therapist
• Personal Trainer
• Physical Therapist Assistant/Aide
• Pilates or Yoga Instructor
• Dance Instructor

Acceptable Certifications/Backgrounds:

Fitness Certifications:

• NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, NESTA, NCCPT, NCSF, ISSA, AFAA, NFPT

Athletic Trainer:

• Bachelors Degree or higher, BOC Certification, State Licensure

Massage Therapist:

• State Licensure, AMTA, ABMP, NCBTMB
• Doctoral Degree (DC), State Licensure

Physical Therapist:

• Doctoral Degree (DPT), State Licensure

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):

• Accredited Education Program, CAPTE Certification, State Licensure

Degrees in Health/Fitness/Wellness:

• Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Human Biomechanics

Dancer:

• Degree in Fine Arts with Human Anatomy/Movement emphasis
• Yoga Alliance (RYT 200, RYT 500, E-RYT 200, E-RYT 500, RPYT), NACYT, AFPA, Yogaworks, ISSA, CorePower Yoga

Pilates Instructor:

• Pilates Method Alliance, Body Arts and Science International, Peak Pilates, Stott Pilates, Romanas Pilates, Power Pilates
• International Ballet and Barre Fitness Association, BarreWorks, The Barre Standard, American Barre Technique, Balanced Body Barre
• Prior experience in fitness or wellness settings with hands-on client interaction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and empathetic environment.
• Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining scheduling and attendance expectations.
• Willingness to complete StretchLabs comprehensive Flexologist Training Program (20 hours online plus 2 days in-person).
