Eagle Flexible Packaging is seeking experienced Flexographic Printing Press Lead Operators to produce high-quality printed flexible packaging materials on our flexographic presses (W&H 10-color central impression wide web press and Soma high speed press). The role is on 2nd shift, Monday-Friday with no rotating shifts.

Pay rate up to $40 per hour, based on experience and aptitude. Responsibilities include setup, color sequence, registration, QA collaboration, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with flexographic printing and flexible packaging is preferred.
• Must be able to sit/stand for prolonged periods and perform climbs with ladders.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed packaging.
• Load and align print cylinders, set decks and adjust registration.
• Monitor print quality, color registration, and repeat accuracy during runs.
• Document production issues and coordinate with QA for job approvals.
• Ensure food safety and QA procedures are followed.

Job description

Eagle Flexible Packaging is seeking experienced **Flexographic Printing Press Lead Operators **to produce high-quality printed flexible packaging materials on our flexographic printing presses (W&H 10-color central impression wide web press and Soma high speed press). **Hiring for 2nd shift Monday-Friday (set schedule without rotating shifts). Pay rate up to $40 per hour (including shift differential) based on relevant experience and mechanical aptitude. Relocation support available for well-qualified candidates.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Obtain job information from prepress department, assist in anilox selection and color sequence.Load print cylinders into press, set print decks and adjust registration.Set all register eyes, verify bar code, and print repeats.Work with QA team to complete job approval checklist.Set trim blades and check dimensions before 1st pull.The ability and experience to choose the correct web path for each print run.During a print run, the Press Operator must monitor every aspect of the run, including web width and edge position, colors, registration, repeat, print quality, and screen quality.Bag and tag finished rolls, if required.Retain samples for QC Department.Document production issues, including material problems, down-time, and plate-related problems.Clean up project, including helping to complete necessary paperwork and verifying accuracy.Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed at all times.
