Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Press Operator to set up and run a multi-color printing process on polyethylene film. You will supervise a Press Helper and Flowman, ensuring color accuracy, proper registration, and efficient production.

Responsibilities include reviewing specs, directing setup activities, performing quality checks on samples, and documenting production data. The role requires twelve-hour shifts, strong reading and math skills, and safety awareness in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED, or 6–12 months manufacturing experience.
• Language: Read and interpret English documents; speak and write in English to supervisors and coworkers.
• Mathematical: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning: Solve practical problems with multiple variables and varied instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders, print master, mounter proof, and samples.
• Direct setup duties for press helper: clean stations, adjust ink colors/viscosities, obtain materials.
• Help Flowman move sleeves and anilox; set impressions and color registration.
• Inspect initial setup samples for color/registration/impression; adjust as needed.
• Record production data, complete accumulation sheets and job orders; perform maintenance.
