Job Summary

This posting is only open to those who have the technical skills from operating multi-color flexographic printing presses. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexographic Printing Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating our 8 color wide web, servo CI Flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality print production while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in print advertising and graphic design.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials.
• Set up press equipment, including ink mixing and plate installation, ensuring proper alignment and registration.
• Monitor the printing process to ensure consistency in color, quality, and production speed.
• Conduct regular quality control checks throughout the printing run to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the prepress team to ensure that files are correctly prepared for printing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and best practices.
• Operate forklifts to move materials and finished products as necessary.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE proven experience as a Flexographic Printing Operator in the printing industry.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required; training can be provided.
