Job summary

CMC Group, located in Bowling Green, Ohio, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Production Team. The position involves printing flexographic inks and topcoats on various substrates to produce labels for the labeling and packaging industry.

The role requires reading production orders, setting up flexo equipment, mounting plates, adjusting inks and tensions, and maintaining compliance with SQF/GMP. Candidates should have 0-2 years printing press experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand production orders.
• Reading a ruler with accuracy and precision.
• Color vision to distinguish colors.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand production orders.
• Set up and operate flexo equipment according to job specifications.
• Mount printing plates and adjust inks, tensions, registration and speed.
• Troubleshoot press and print issues.
• Report to management when supplies of ink and disposables are low.
• Accurately record production consumption and time into ERP system.
• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning per SQF/GMP requirements.
