Job summary

Resource Label Group, LLC (RLG) is seeking a Flexo Press Operator to set up and operate the printing press to produce labels and related products. The role includes loading dies, adjusting ink, and ensuring quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum one year of flexographic printing press experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math in all units.
• Must read and interpret rulers, scales and other measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Reads job order, loads dies into press, installs print cylinder on shaft and into press.
• Fills ink pans, screens and pumps with prescribed inks.
• Starts press, adjusts speed and alignment of stock to print cylinder.
• Engages print cylinders; adjusts printing impression and runs approval strip.
• Cleans plates, cylinders and dies; performs routine maintenance.
• Mixes inks to achieve desired colors and viscosity.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized.
