Resource Label Group is seeking a dual-role 1st Shift Flexo Press Assistant/Maintenance, Repair, and Operations Technician Assistant in Buffalo, NY. The position blends press support with maintenance tasks and offers onsite training in a valuable skilled trade within the printing industry.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, a high school diploma or GED, and manufacturing experience. Pay is $22.00-$24.00 per hour, with a Monday-Friday schedule 6:30 AM–3:00 PM and occasional overtime.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
• 2 years of maintenance experience; carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical fundamentals preferred
• Printing industry experience is a plus
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and read rulers and scales

Responsabilidades

• Assist Flexo Press operations, including setup and cleanup per the schedule
• Perform preventive maintenance on press and related equipment
• Adhere to Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and proper handling of hazardous chemicals
• Assist on other pressroom equipment if needed and workload permits
• Maintain housekeeping standards and keep immediate work area neat and orderly
• Maintain vendor database, including contact information, in ERP system
• Support maintenance and repair tasks with the Maintenance Technician
• Communicate with supervisors and peers about production needs
