Job summary

Tailored Label Products, Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Flexo Press Lead to mentor press operators, maintain high quality and productivity, and drive continuous improvement on our 3rd shift.

You will supervise, train, and support operators while hands-on operating flexo presses to ensure efficient production. The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years of flexographic press experience, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating flexographic presses (Evolution/P-Series or Mark Andy)
• Experience leading or training operators is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills required

Responsibilities

• Operate flexographic press equipment while maintaining quality and productivity
• Lead and train press operators
• Coach and mentor team on safety, quality, and efficiency
• Troubleshoot quality, equipment, and process issues
• Assist with first-piece approvals and quality verification
• Identify and implement process improvements

3rd Shift Flexo Press Lead

At Tailored Label Products (TLP), we're looking for a motivated and experienced Flexo Press Lead to help drive quality, efficiency, and teamwork on our 3rd Shift. This is a hands-on, working Press Operator,leadership role for someone who enjoys mentoring others, solving problems, and taking pride in producing high-quality work.

As the Flexo Press Lead, you'll serve as a go-to resource for Press Operators, help develop team members through training and coaching, and support continuous improvement efforts while operating press equipment and maintaining high production standards.

What You'll Do

• Operate flexographic press equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity
• Serve as the primary training resource for new and existing press operators
• Coach, mentor, and support team members on safety, quality, and efficiency best practices
• Troubleshoot product quality, equipment, and process-related issues
• Assist with first-piece approvals and quality verification processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions
• Ensure 6S standards and preventative maintenance requirements are maintained
• Update production metrics and communicate operational concerns to leadership
• Lead by example and demonstrate TLP's Core Values every day

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3+ years of flexographic press experience
• Experience operating Evolution/P-Series or Mark Andy presses
• Hybrid Flexo/Inkjet experience is a plus
• Previous lead or training experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Comfortable using ERP systems and email
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing setting
