Are you a machine-whisperer who speaks fluent Totani? Do you get a genuine sense of satisfaction from watching high-speed flexible film transform into pristine, perfectly sealed pouches? If you’re ready to bring your converting expertise to a growing, high-energy manufacturing environment, we want to talk to you!
What You’ll Do
As our go-to Totani Operator, you won't just run a machine—you’ll be the captain of the line.
- Command the Equipment: Own the full setup, changeovers, calibration, and high-speed operation of Totani pouch lines.
- Dial in the Precision: Perform visual, dimensional, and seal-integrity checks on the fly to ensure every bag leaving your line is 100% defect-free.
- Keep it Running Smooth: Troubleshoot minor mechanical hiccups, perform preventative maintenance, and minimize film scrap like a pro.
- Lead the Crew: Guide and mentor your line assistants, keep your workspace clean (5S style), and maintain a safe, high-output workflow.
What We’re Looking For
- Totani Expertise (Required): At least 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience setting up and operating Totani pouch-making machinery in a flexible packaging or converting setting.
- Mechanical Know-How: You know how heat, tension, speed, and pressure interact, and you can troubleshoot alignment or seal issues on the fly.
- Detail-Oriented Eye: Great color vision and sharp attention to detail to catch misprints, bad seals, or web tracking issues before they become waste.
- Math & Tech Savvy: Comfortable reading detailed job tickets, running shop math, and entering production data into ERP tracking systems.
- Physical Stamina: Ready to stand, bend, push/pull film rolls, and lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.
What’s In It For You?
- Competitive Pay: $22.00 - $30.00/hr+ (commensurate with experience & shift differential options)
- Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, vision, paid time off (PTO), and 401(k) matching
- Great Culture: A supportive, safety-first shop floor where top operators are recognized, rewarded, and given space to grow
