Job summary

You will monitor box quality and maintain schedules to meet quality and efficiency targets. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, is willing to overtime, and can work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Overtime availability on short notice, including weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in packaging/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up rails, print, and die cut section on Flexo accurately following setup techniques.
• Inspect dies before and after runs and perform repairs as needed before next run.
• Ensure all bolts for cutting dies are in place and secured.
• Monitor box quality (loose liner, warp, correct size, print) and check rolls for damage.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed.
• Assist other operators and maintenance with machine duties.
• Complete production and safety reports in a timely, accurate manner.
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs.
• Comply with company policies and maintain good housekeeping.
• Adhere to the production schedule and suggest improvements to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
