Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks an In-Store Shopper to support and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup. You will shop throughout the store for groceries, produce, meat, dairy, and more, with emphasis on weekends, holidays, and peak times.

The role requires strong customer service, adaptability to fast-paced retail, and ability to learn new tech tools. Shoppers may work 4–8 hour shifts and must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items.
